Over the last two years, we’ve undergone a comprehensive transformation, reconstructing our establishment to feature a beautiful, outdoor-oriented design that brings you closer to the picturesque Leland River — a significant part of our heritage since 1927.
Located just steps away from Historic Fishtown, the Blue Bird restaurant offers an unparalleled Leland waterfront dining experience. Our new design includes an expanded 100-seat patio overlooking the Leland River, connecting Lake Leelanau to Lake Michigan — it’s the perfect setting to enjoy a meal while watching the boats drift by. Or, we welcome you to savor fresh, locally sourced Whitefish within our remodeled 100-seat indoor restaurant.
