The Bluebird’s Tavern has been a central gathering spot in the community for generations of Leelanau residents and visitors. The lunch and dinner menu has plenty of Lake Michigan fish choices, from Whitefish fillets and Sandwiches, to Walleye and Smelt. Our Hamburger is fresh-ground daily at NJ’s Market in Lake Leelanau, and our buns are made in our own baking department. House-Smoked Beef Brisket sandwich, Pulled Pork, and Blackened Whitefish Taco’s are made with lots of care and love. Bluebird Pizza has a huge local following due to freshly tossed dough for our crust, fresh toppings, and the best Mozzarella you can imagine. Eat in or take out. We also serve our Dining Room menu (when available) in the Tavern every night after 5:00pm, so if your in the mood for Prime Rib or a great Steak, go for it! Check out our Wine List for profound, aged Cabernet from the West Coast, or a local Pinot Gris to compliment your meal.
